- 70% Lieu-dit Les Berthaudières (Volcanic rocks of blue stones)
- 30% Lieu-dit Chavannes (pink granite)
Culture
- Vines around 40 years old
- Cup pruning, 10,000 vines/ha
- Cultivation according to the principles of reasoned pest management
- 100% manual harvest
Winemaking
- Traditional Beaujolais vinification with little extraction
- Semi-carbonic maceration
- Aged in oak barrels (80%) and in concrete vats (20%) for 10 months
- Aged in bottle for 12 months before marketing
Tasting
- View: Deep garnet red
- Nose: Jammy black fruits, note of vanilla and black pepper
- Mouth: Soft tannin on light notes of sweet spices
